Conventions:
- The use of dialogue such as the protagonist saying "i came here to kill you", engages the audience.
-Shots of action reveal the genre of the film.
- Dramatic soundtrack adds to the action, creating a build up of suspense.
- The title appears at the end of the trailer, in a bold font, with a dark background, and the title in white, allowing it to stand out.
Target Audience:
The target audience can be seen to be for a more male audience. This could be inferred through the action snapshots and that the film seems to be mainly dominated, the protagonist is also male and features lots of vehicles, which could connote to men.
Distributor:
The distributor was able to promote the film through posters, at bus stops, underground stations and on taxis as well as television adverts.
My personal response:
I didn't feel this was a trailer that made me want to watch the film but I think this was because, I don't actually like action films.
INTERVIEW:
BOX OFFICE : $880.7 MILLION
BUDGET:$245 MILLION
SOUNDTRACK :
In September 2015 it was announced that Sam Smith and regular collaborator Jimmy Napes had written the film's title theme, "Writing's on the Wall", with Smith performing it for the film. The song was released later that month where it received mixed reviews from critics and fans, particularly in comparison to Adele's "Skyfall". It became the first Bond theme to reach number one in the UK Singles Chart.
